Room Painted – Pink and Purple

We promised Ashlyn that once we moved into our new house, we would paint her room pink and purple. Promise kept. It was a soft green color, which I did like and would have kept if we wouldn’t have got suckered in to the whole pink and purple thing.

There was no freeloading your way to having a pink and purple room.

I was actually surprised at how many many pink and purple choices there were at the store.

We went with one that was light enough we could repaint and cover it up one day to make us happy, but yet dark enough she was happy with enough pink and purple too.

Ta-Da !!!

Our next project is to reface the dresser draws with the same pink and purple we have leftover. Then it will be all matchy-matchy.

We made it the whole day without any mishaps, no spilled paint, no marks on the ceiling, no oops……just one pink paw. Not bad.

And she’s quite happy with the outcome.

Still goofy, but happy.
