Happy New Year 2022

I hope you all had a very nice Christmas. Chika loved all the wrapping paper around her gifts. She liked her new toys once we picked up all the paper and boxes. Tissue paper was the most fun !

I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable New Years Eve celebrating. Chika is demonstrating the kind of partying we’ll be doing this year. Jamie is working, Ashlyn is chatting with friends and Chika and I are living it up folding laundry, tidying up my desk and calendar and getting jammies on and hunkering down.  Hope we don’t disturb the neighbors with how rowdy we are. Going to try to make it until midnight but it’s not looking promising. Pretty sad we don’t even have any picture’s of us for new years. You get pictures of the cat instead! If you ask me, those are way better to look at than us anyway. She’s way cuter.

I’m not a goal setter. I make changes and goals as they come up during the year. The last few years have been quite the covid shit show with lots of ups and downs for everyone. I actually don’t think I made any changes or set any goals this year, probably figured keeping my head above water was good enough. I think at this point we are all wishing desperately for better health in the new year.

I’m going to just tuck 2021 away, say goodbye and good reddens in just 2 more hours. If I’m being honest, I’m a little nervous to peek in to 2022 and see what it has in store.

Actually, I think it’s going to be a good year because I love even numbers, especially the number 2. So, 2022 might just be my year.
