Stewart Park in Perth, Ontario – Part 2

Lot’s of picture’s to show you, so I’m jumping right in. Stewart Park in Perth, Ontario is one of the prettiest parks I’ve ever seen. The Tay River runs through this park and twists and turns all the way through the town.

Many different pretty areas no matter which part of town you are at.

You can’t ask for a better view no matter where you are though. This is still a part that winds through town.

All the rest of the picture’s are all from Stewart Park. It does not have a play structure, it’s not that kind of park. Just beautiful scenery.

And it’s a great place for taking photo’s. Family picture’s, wedding’s…any occasion. You’d have some excellent backgrounds.

And of course, the rocks and shallow water throughout make it a magnet for having fun for kids.

Since so many kids swim in the river and many adults wade and dogs cool off as well. The edges are either grassy or rocks, making it not the easiest to enter the water everywhere. So they are having the high school kids who are learning different trades build a designated area to enter the water safely. With steps and a smooth bottom. Can’t wait to see the finished product next time we visit. Ashlyn is excited for that part. We were on our way to supper so she really couldn’t get wet like she would have preferred.

What is your favorite place in Canada?

I was not compensated in anyway by anyone mentioned in this post. I just love this town, these places and wanted to share.
