Pilot FriXion Erasable Gel Pens

Have you ever heard of Pilot FriXion Erasable Gel Pens? Have you ever used them? Well let me tell you, they are the Bomb-Digity of Pens !! At least for writing in my planner anyway. I’m a pen person. I love my pens. I have many favorites for many things. Some for writing on work papers, some on my planner, some for my lists….just depends. Depends on the paper. Depends on the task. Depends on my mood.

But hold up, these are gel pens that aren’t gloopy and don’t leave splotches of ink randomly as you write. They write smooth. And they are erasable ! But a GOOD erasable. Not that half-assed stuff.

These were not given to me at a discount. I bought them on my own, with my own moola because I wanted to try them. Here are these beauties. I bought the 10 pack. Since I was just trying them out I didn’t want to chance it on the larger pack. I believe they were about $10. My store carried the capped pens. I prefer a clicker pen. They are available, I just didn’t have access to them. I didn’t go to much effort since I was just trying them anyway. When I’m ready for more, I’ll get the clicker kind.

I got the .7. I’m not sure what options they have. But .7 is decent. It’s not thin or bold. A nice medium.

I don’t like having multiple places to track things. Such as appointments in one calendar, school activities on another, meal planner on another…..that drives me crazy !!! I need them all in one place. So that one place needs to be organized and pretty. I use red for anything school related, blue is for appointments, green is for bills, orange is for fitness, pink is birthdays and anniversary, purple is for to do’s, etc.

I have previously used the Happy Planner and Blue Sky Planner. Although I love them both, they just weren’t perfect. So this year I just made my own. I love it ! Since I made my own, the paper isn’t as thick as a normal planner paper would be. So I am pleasantly surprised to tell you, these pens do not bleed through !!!! Woot Woot !

You do have to erase with this pens eraser. A normal pencil eraser, or a different brand pen eraser does not work. The colors are pretty spot on matching the pen color. Not brighter or less than.
